1975 Evinrude 70hp Lower Unit in 1987 70hp Evinrude

Hi, I have a E70TLCUR 1987 70hp Outboard that had a bad lower unit. I found a lower unit from a 70573B 1975 70hp. I've been searching around on what I need to do to make the swap work. Do I just need to change the shift bellcrank lever? Thank you in advance

Correct ---you have to find motor linkages from a 73 , 74 , early 75 model.---Should not be hard to find the correct lower unit.----Your location ?

Thanks for the reply, do you know which specific linkage parts I will need from the old motor? I'm in Massena, NY.
