ok so i have a 97 glastron w a 3.0 volvo penta 3.0 took it to the lake, anchored down and drank all day, forgot to turn pump on to drain water! when i got back to boat water was up to starter..drained water..tried to start..starter grinds and wont even try to turn over? any ideas? starter shot...

took the boat out ran fine, stopped anchored down hung out a little bit, got in boat started it up took off cutting across water and would bog down at higher speed but mostly when hit big wave? i've heard could be fuel filter, or just needs a tune up..i...
for some reason i can start my boat take it out all day , kill it, sit and hang out for awhile then get back in to start the boat but will not turn over..i have to get back there and move the starter relay or just mess with it then it will finally fire up and turn over. it is a volvo penta 3.0GS...
