Here are the facts.
- wide open throttle - only 12.45 volts on my handheld digital testing meter(same voltage at idle)
- batteries aren't charging(they have water and are brand new)
- engine was rebuilt and the charging components look brand new(stator, regulator, wiring, etc.)
- wiring appears...
My 1984 150hp Johnson hasn't been charging.
I've only got .03 volts going back to the batteries coming out of the voltage regulator(red wire). I tested the lead on the end of the wire coming directly off the regulator which jumpers up with the #2 battery cable(going back to the battery switch)...
