    On the upper seal I think the brass bushing is on the top then the 2 oil seals are on the bottom twards the exhaust chamber. BUT........my logic is telling me the rubber seals should be on the top furthest away from water (I think the exhaust bellow will be wet?) The manual shows the seals...

    whats the easiest way to empty gas tank?

    I have a mercrusiser 3.0L GM 4 cylinder engine. i pulled the carb off and thought with the key turned it would operate the gas pump, but it only runs when the engine is cranking?? I want to empty the tank without pulling up the floor. Thanks!

    Trim pump motor not working correctly

    3.0LX GM alternator belt tip

    I used a Dayton V belt from Granger, part # 4L400. It is a little wider so It sits a little higher and tigher-had to finagle and stretch it a little to get it inbetween the mount and on the pully, but works perfect.     Rusted timing pointer, 3.0 LX WHERE IS TDC?

    My pointer is all rusted out, I can't match it up to the repair manual diagram-it has 5 points, mine looks to have 6 points. You cant buy just the pointer-its part of the timing cover. Can ayone get me to TDC from my photo-I plan to drill a scribe into the block in preporation of the tab...
