    Help with timing 150 johnson

    I have an 02 150 that we just finished rebuilding. My question is where do I set the timing for the initial start up? The book calls for 6 degrees ATDC idle and 20 max rpm. Thanks, Ryan

    Starter solenoid wiring help needed

    I have a 02 150 hp johnson ocean runner. I need to know which wires go where on the solenoid. I have 3 red wires and 2 black wires that go on the big terminals, not including the main battery cable. Then I have one yellow with red stripe and a solid black for the small terminals.     Vaccum Switch

    I have an 02 150 johnson that has a leaking vaccum switch causing surging at higher rpms. My question is can I safely plug the inlet hose to the switch and run the motor without doing any damage to the motor?
