    Johnson 50hp -97, Thermostat temp range?

    The engine felt very hot as i tuched it to day so I decide to test the tstat. I could not tuch it for more then 2 seconds. I boiling water it started to open at about 150 F and was completly open at about 160F. Does anyone know if this is ok? / Leijon
