    There appears to be rust at the base of the impeller out to the edges of the deicer. It’s a shame The unit is only two years old.

    I do have some testing meters but I have to be honest I don’t know exactly how they work. Unit is only two years old. If you can explain what you want me to do I probably can figure it out. Appreciate your help

    Just put my deicer in the water plugged it in and it tripped the ground fault. The motor turned on initially but then turned off when the ground fault tripped. I took it out of the water and plugged it in to a ground fault and tripped that as well. Any idea why it is tripping the ground fault?
