Engine is still on stand but is 99% complete.
My old motor has a crank sensor and is TBI but new motor was carb and had no sensor.

Hey folks, after just buying my boat about a week ago, and finding it to have a spun rod bearing, I found a super nice motor and went and bought it on the spot. Came from a externally damaged 97 bayliner with less than 100 hrs on it.
Now my original motor had roller rockers and EFI setup (TBI)...
Noise now coming from outdrive/driveshaft area.
Took it out for the first time and noticed grinding knocking sound from drive to engine area.
Never heard nose like this so not sure what to check
