    Re: Cleaning of the hull If it's really bad you're best to wet sand. Get some 1500 +/- wet-dry and do a small area. Sand (not too much and keep it wet and consistent) then polish and wax. It's the quickest way to get rid of it. Find a sanding block to stop the finger marks and a buffer will...

My last boat (pictured) was black so everything had to be just right... cut polish (if needed), fine polish, (if it's black then a swirl remover) and then wax to keep it shiny. Polishes have a grit or chemical for addressing flaws and cleaning and wax...

    Re: New boat The 'other stuff'; twin 270 Cummins diamond series (475 hrs... make that 700 now :D), espar heat, 6500w genset (all diesel), bow and stern thrusters, vacuflush... gps and radar up and I installed a lower gps too after the pic, loaded up with 'other accessories' too . Performance...
