Hello again and thanks for the help last time. The tilt and trim relay has recently stopped working on my etec 50, goes down but not up. The end of the relay has gone soft and I suppose the wires have come loose. Problem is! all that new relays genuine and after market only come with 2 wires on...
The wot on this outboard is 6080 Running with me and 40 litres of fuel.(flat water) at 28 mph. I understand that pitching up will give more speed but decrease rpm . What I can't find out is will a smaller prop diameter increase the rpm? So my line of thinking smaller diameter plus larger pitch...
Etec is running a viper s/steel prop
13.7/8 × 15 , wot 6100 rpm for around 28 mph. It's on the back of a 14.5 feet outlaw. Just wondering what a 13.1/4 x 17 would do? Looking for a little bit more speed! Already raised the motor helped a little.
