    Yes checked the compression. disconnected all of the pink wires that limit the rpm and puts engine into an rpm limiting mode. No change

    there are three wires for the stator Red Blue and Brown.. The black that I am speaking off is from the meter... which test lead goes where ? If I test red test lead to blue stator wire and black test lead to red stator wire the output I get is 13 dc volts. But if I switch it around and test...

    There not they are ac but you can't test peak voltage using ac you need to convert it to dc using a dva adapter or dva meter.. to remove read the peak voltage.

    I could not agree more.. The only thing that throws me for a loop is A. I cant find any model #'s that start at E1009 and none of them in 88--94 have a woodruff Key.

    Also the input shaft has a metal woodruff key for the water pump instead of the normal plastic keeper
