    95 4.3 alpha1 gen2 hrs ?, seals only replaced. Do I need to check gear backlash?

    Had some lube come out of the water intakes when i went to fire up for the season. Have unit removed and separated, plan on inspection, cleaning, replacing all seals,gaskets and impeller w/ OEM kits, pressure checking. I have Clymer manual and link to Boatfix Merc manual. Top is in good shape...
