    Twin outboard steering, single or dual??

    I'm repowering my 30' Intrepid cuddy with twin Yamaha F250s (standard/counter). It'll probably have a top speed somewhere between 50-60mph and will be used mostly for off shore running in maybe 6ft seas. Is there any advantage in using twin steering cylinders over a single cylinder?

    I need to replace my trim tab system, the old system was a Bennett Standard Trim Tab Kit 12x12, I have enough room to upgrade to the 18x12. My question is: Would I have to drill a new hole in the transom for the pipe nipple that runs to the tabs actuator?
