So quick back story, my engine was fully submerged in freshwater. I pulled sparks so no hydrolock. Drained oil and replaced filter. Rinsed 5 times with oil .until all water was gone. New sparks and she's been running great. Since the submerging all summer I have done a lot of trolling and...
So last weekend I was out trolling and my engine died, it sounded like it was starving for fuel. After popping the cowling off I noticed I was missing a bolt in my 3rd carb..I guess its the intake vacuum port..I replaced it along with new brass gas fittings and a new fuel filter. It started up...
I have a 90 4 stroke..I'm hooked on salmon fishing and I have a jet that I've never used..im hoping somebody has a diagram of all parts needed to swap the prop to the jet..its a San leandro pump...or maybe somebody has a video of swapping prop to jet?

I"m wanting to make my boat self-sufficient regarding my batteries. I have a 90 merc 4-stroke (carb) i have one dedicated battery to the motor, also I have two 12 volts in parallel to run my 67lb thrust motorguide trolling motor. I want to be able to charge my trolling motor batteries...
Changing oil...i heard that people are using a synthetic..instead of 10w30 in the winter and a 25w40 in the summer..gets over 100 degrees here..what do ya'll think?
I got my new motor sept 1st.. I have probably gone fishing twice a week since then..how often do i change the oil? Also how often do i change the oil in my trim/tilt? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated..I plan on changing the oil myself so any recommendations... thanks in advance...
I know that this boat has a max hp rating of 90hp , would it be ok to go with a 90 hp 4 stroke. I believe a 90 hp 2 stroke weighs about 300lbs vs a 90hp 4 stroke that weighs around 390lbs..what ya guys think?

Think I found a great deal on this $4500 is what he is asking..Any heads up on problems with this kind of motor? I have a 89 1706 Bluefin Spectrum , pretty sure the max rating is a 90 hp, will a 90hp 4 stroke be too much for my boat?

So I'm a newbie, been researching bluefins for over a year now, finally picked up a spectrum, just wanted to see if there was anyway to get a manual or something that explains all the functions of the boat? maybe even a wiring diagram??
