    No...not normal. Brown to brown-yellow should be 750-950 ohms.

    Bingo! I had an older Honda in the shop with the very same symtoms. Turned out the exhaust manifold had a hole burned through...Too bad the part was NLA and was not financially feasible to remove the powerhead.

    Mercarb 2BBL vacuum hose?

    Normally connected to the fuel pump with a see-through hose (NOT the fuel line). This hose allows the skipper to view the condition of the fuel pump diaphram. If you see fuel in the hose, you have a ruptured diaphram.

    4th picture in (IMG 6852)...see the flush-mounted, slotted screw? That's the fill screw.

    If tilt goes up and down, your pump appears to be working. Try operating pump up and down a few times to bleed any possible air in the cylinder(s).
