    This is a critical fault! Always address critical faults first --- will probably fix the trim faults when the low voltage is taken care of. Serial numbers might help, but I've never worked for a MerCruiser Diesel dealer and never seen these engines. Not even sure if I could access the manuals...

    Year doesn’t help me. Too many mid year changes and drives get replaced. But if it is a never worked on before 2008, probably due for a complete reseal.

    Agree to start with fuel pressure. low side 8psi ± 4 high side 29psi ± 2 Watch injectors with a timing light. You can get a much better look at the pattern. If you suspect the ECM is overheating --- get a couple of cans of compressed air (air duster for keyboards) when the engine shuts down...
