DUDE that did it! Opened right up. Nothing seems frozen or corroded (light patina). Looks pretty clean, considering It's probly been out there for years in the weather. Now I'm looking for a gas tank to connect to it.
Oh man thanks but that is older I think than my engine. Mine includes electric start (wires coming out of the front lead to a rusted terminal block in the boat). I'm pretty sure the handle is lever hinged toward the front of the engine, so it would pull up and forward to remove but it is frozen...
I see a single latch on the back. Does it pull upward or straight back? Is it internally hinged? It's hard to move and I'm afraid of breaking it if I pull it the wrong way too hard.
