i have a 04 suzuki 2 stroke oil injected been sit up for two years got it out and fired right up. Went on a 15 min ride to lake run ok,fishd all day, fired right up and ran all the way back to boat ramp and died n wouldnt fire back up. It now wants to fire up but when cranking it it backfire...
I have a 3.0 4clyd with a crack on the side of the block, a small crack, fix it with JB weld. Well no more water leaking and the compression test was good. What im asking is would a crack make my motor run bad n smoke a little bit? I have been having carb problems to.
Did a compression test on my 3,0 1990 motor. The results was ok I think but I don't know much abot motors they read 160 160 160 155. From what I have read that's a healty motor. The problem is that it smokes a lil thought the rings may be bad but guess not. Spark plugs are real smutty black...
