Working on a lubrication system issue on my 1998 Optimax 150.
New tank assemblies are on back order from Mercury so I’m trying to continue diagnosing my issue.
What I’m looking for is the resistance of the oil level sensor when the tank is full of oil.

Im pretty sure the alarm would stop if the engine quit running, but since it idles beautifully I can’t test that theory. the only way to kill the engine is to turn off the key, which is supposed to reset the system.
