    OMG I think I found it on EBAY pn 909513. cant upload the pic though...I just kept adjusting my search words and finally got a hit. I still need to find this mysterious nylon washer. My hardware store has them, but I dont know how thick it should be.

    Thanks I'll give that a shot. After looking at the book closer, it seems I'm missing the Hammer Coupling retainer, the gets installed before the coupling. I'll bet thats the reason my shaft is starting to crack. I cant find a replacement, anyone have a part number or source? Thanks

    Omc 4.3l won’t stay running after 60 sec

    Sounds to me like its sucking air from somewhere. But with an electric FP, hmmm stuck needle valve. Blow some air though the fuel inlet on the carb. Listen for a pop as it builds pressure.

    Motor runs but in water dies when throttled

    Sound like your fuel line is sucking air and killing the motor when the demand is higher than Idle. I have had this happen to may times on my outboards.
