replacing a blown 110 Evinrude with a 140 Johnson. Engine wires match up but tilt trim are different. Controls on boat have 5 wires 1) blue with white stripe 2) red with white stripe 3)green with white stripe 4) white with brown stripe 5) black with brown stripe, the new tilt has 5 wires coming...
I can't read the model number, last three are corroded. Model number is E120T???, serial number is G0261105. How do I determine what year it is? Need year to determine what manual I need, so I can work on it as well as for parts?

The four wire fuel pump in my 120 hp Evinrude is bad. I have a 3 wire fuel pump in a blown 110 hp Evinrude that I know was working 3 weeks ago before it died. anyway of using the 3 wire in the 120?
