I was getting some vibration which was coming from the engine cover. I put house weatherstripping around the engine access where the cover meets the boats. IThe boat is so quiet now but i am worried about fuel fumes etc? Anyone else do this

Has anyone found a creative and safe way to use all the extra space in the engine compartment. My Q5 has alot of unused space next to the engine. I understand anything I do there must be removable since that it the area the mechanic can sit in for service but the rest of the time it's wasted...
Can anyone tell me where to buy a cushion to fill the space between the bow seats to make it a deck. Either it doesn't exist or there is some marine term for what I am looking for and I dont know what to call it.
