    Fuel "Lift" on 1973 Merc 20HP 2-stroke

    My dealer says the rough-running (after smooth running idle) when accelerating the throttle requires a carburetor overhaul and something about the fuel "lifts" being somehow connected to the carburetor??? Anyone know what a "lift" is???? whatever--it's $260 to overhaul carb. Is this too much...
