bought a 86 ranger w/ 1991 yamaha pro v 150 and my dad is getting it insured sometime in the near future and was wandering what to get it insured for. any suggestions??

buying a 1987 ranger 350v w/ 150 yamaha pro v 150. and planing on fishing tournements with it. i know speed doesnt matter but i like to kno when to take off. either with other 150s or try w/ the 200s. it has a speedometer but i know there sometimes off. any help will be appreciated thanks.

what should the throttle lever on a 1978 model mercury 1000 or 100 hp look like mine is at a slight angle and it idles fast should ot be straight up and down or what ???
how much wheight difference is there between a 1970 johnson 125 and a 1978 merc 1000 or 100 hp the boat is rated for an 85 and it had a 125 on it will there be any troubles with this new motor
if you think you have an electrical problem ,your motor wont even turn over ect. then check your controls if your motor is a little older then the wires in the ignition are probably fraid and rusty this is for all i/o's not just mercs/maraniers
if you think you have an electrical problem your motor wont even turn over ect. all of the wires in the ignition box in the older motors unless they are babied and have been rewired are probably rusty and in poor condition this isnt just for johnson evirude but for all i/o's
well yesterday the 20th we bought a set of controls and the motor that went with it we actually bought it for the controls but when we got the motor and the controls home we hooked up the controls on our good motor that we know runs it didnt even turn over we got out old ones and hooked them...
