no name trailer but it has tandem Dexter torsion axles , used it last night , first time in about 6 months, air pressure good, and after a few miles while braking at low speeds I got a horrible clanking ( at first it sounded like it was in the coupler ) and a shimmy, got out checked everything...

what would be any advantage to mount the brake controller on the trailer versus inside the tow vehicle

does the placement of the fuel primer pump ball thing matter in relation to where it is with relation to the tank and the engine ?
why I ask is on my pontoon boat the tank is permanently mounted at the port rear inside a compartment and the primer ball used to be about 6 inched from the top of...
