    Thanks racerone i think of all the suggestions in post #12 i havent verified is the fuel pump diaphragm so i will look into that. Cylinder compression is good, but i do not know to test/verify crankcase compression?

    Not frusturated, just need to replicate the limp in order to diagnose. Some of these suggestions will yield nothing in the driveway as “it revs up fine in neutral”. I do appreciate the help, i have most of these tools so i will see what i come up with.

    Saltchuckmatt what I am saying is i can only get it to “limp” when under a load. Meaning in gear, in the water, full speed ahead. I did not know of a way to spark jump test while cruising down the lake. Is it possible?

    Thanks i will look into these things. My thought about it running fine in neutral was it rules out a compression/fuel/spark issue.
