    Stainless Steele or NO..

Wow...thanks guys/gals for the information. There is quite a bit for me to consider. One thing for sure....I need to get this new boat in the water and run some tests prior to just slapping a SS prop on it.

    Stainless Steele or NO..

I really don't know....some experienced fisherman with the 250HP motors told me to go stainless. But we are just cruising and pulling the occasional tube around.....and the 90HP, is it really going to give noticeable performance changes with a PONTOON.

    Stainless Steele or NO..

I have a Mercury 90HP with Command Thrust on a 2021 Bennington SVL, 20ft. long. Is there any reason I should go to a stainless steel prop on this type of boat?

Yes I understand the motor will last but so will the noise.

Radio doesn't have good reception....and I am 73 years old....I don't need loud music to show everyone that I own a boat....(pet peeve).

Agree...but most people think I am nuts for spending that kind of money. But then again, the ol Mercury has a 450hrs on it.

Dealers are telling me the new 4 stroke has closed the weight gap considerably....and this is a pontoon, so the wave thing probably won't be a problem...correct? Hope you are right on the trade value...unless you mean shocked by how low value it is....just trying to determine if this "new buy"...

I own a 2007 115hp Mercury Optimax 2 stroke engine that runs fine. My only complaint is, we like to cruise on our lake and the engine is very noisy. Do you think I am nuts to invest 10 grand in a new Suzuki, 115hp, 4 stroke. Your comments please....and be nice.
