I've read everything I could find but still unclear about the wire connections for installing Pertronix electronic ignition kit #2842 in an AQ125 with
Bosch distributor # 0231 178 017 JF4. I removed the old points, ballast resistor wire and grommet from inside the distributor and reconnected the...
Anyone know how to adjust the up travel on AQ125A/VP 270 tilt mechanism? Mine stops about 1/8" from completely up. I'm afraid it won't clear the arm on the drive. Read the little snippet in the manual but really can't see where there is an adjustment.
Looking for part number for AQ125 water inlet hose. This is the hose on the inside that connects from the chrome pipe of the transom shield inside to the brass engine connection
Upon inspecting my AQ125 exhaust bellows (Volvo OEM) I noticed a very small hole about 2" in from the end and I was wondering if it was factory. The hole is about 1/16th of a inch and looks factory formed. Is this a factory weep hole ?

Thanks,
I'm back at the original issue I have with porpoising. My 1984 Mercruiser 305 powered 20' IMP likes to porpoise above 25mph. Shifting weight doesn't help. It improves when I use the tabs but I feel it would improve more if I could get the trim rams to retract completely. If I disconnect the rams...
