Well i need to buy a RPM tach to break my engine in just rebuilt it. So i see that there are different poles and all kinds of stuff. So which one do i need. I want to get out as cheap as possible but i still want the tach to work and be accurate. I dont need all the bells and whistles just a tach.
I have read a little on this engine and people say if you have the wrong prop you can burn up the #3 piston. The prop i have is a SS 21pitch. So you think this will be the right pitch.

I had an 1976 Gull Wing and took out the engine its an orignal 307 that came in it. It has been rebuilt and runs great it is still ready to be droped in antother boat.
