Yep, I ordered more sets than I needed, oops again :rolleyes: so need to return two of them.
But at least the job is now done, finished it over the weekend. The caliper on the last wheel was a bear to get back on with new pads, not sure why; nothing appeared different about it from the others...
I don't think the pistons are seized, but I'm going to check that when I'm at the boat's location again this weekend. From an earlier picture I took that has the other side of the caliper I can just make out the stamp, it's Kodiak.

Sorry, should have named the pics accordingly before I uploaded them on my other computer. IMG_0522 is looking from inner to outer, so you're looking directly at the seal. You can see the inner bearing behind it.
You're not seeing the seal in that pic, it's the inner bearing (which obscures view of the seal), the grease around the edge may be making it appear like the seal.
Thanks for the replies all. Because it was the first time seeing it, I hadn't recognized the spindle in my other post had a deformed piece of the old outer bearing on it. The first hub had gone on fine with no play with the replacement races and bearings. Pics here are of this second hub...

Is this because the race turning on the axle would mean the axle is scored and would then require replacement? Also, am I using the wrong term when I call what's in the first picture the spindle? What part is considered the axle?
