I think I'm having a issue with the trim on my 2004 Mercury Optimax 150.
* Trims and Tilts up perfect.
* Tilts down to trim rams just fine.
* Once into the trim ram it sounds stressed and by the time it has about 1" left it screams like it bottomed out.

Nobody has had to replace the Bilge Drain on a Starcraft yet?
I have searched the net from one end to the other and haven't found anything on the subject yet.
I can't believe non of the boat shops carry the above set up... as it seems to be the only thing...

Well, I joined the club and picked up what looks to be a 16' Starcraft SS converted to a center console. I bought it with a seized motor on it (A 1999-2000 Mercury 40hp 4 cyl.) and I had a damn near new 2001 Mercury 40hp 2 cyl. to install on it, but the bottom 2 holes in the transom don't line...
