I am taking the floor out of my 16 foot aluminum Starcraft and using gluvit on all the seams and rivets. However, i need to replace a few rivets and am unsure what rivets i need and what size and what i need to do it?

I have a 6hp johnson around 1970s. The gear shift to make it go from neutral to forward and reverse broke off. How can i fix it? i guess a pin broke or something. It seems like i have to take a lot apart to fix it?
