    Hey Guys its been awhile....got 2000 Seadoo Challenger Jet Boat. Model # S240J30WS Serial # OE375895 Mercury M2 240 HP engine. Boat has no spark, the owner that we purchased it from says it's the stator. Can't find the right info on this engine. Downloaded a few books but nothing matches up...

    another thunderbolt ign ?

    i have the thunderbolt 4 ignition. do i have to jump things out like the 5, or do i point and turn dest? also theirs no timing tab on engine but their is a mark. could anybody give me some info on timing this 350 small block mercruiser. no #s and its old. probable 70s early 80s. thanks. tim

    old alpha one

    installed new seals ,upper and lower pump housing in my drive, no #s,with the gear shifter in forward and the shift shaft turned all the way clockwise with the prop turned all the way counter clockwise and bungie cord holding it in place, did not move. got it all bolted up and i can't get it out...

    Re: in a jam. i ran 3/8 head self tappers in the holes around the nipple hole. it took 4 of them to bang that b*&^*ch off. thanks again.

    hey guys. iam in trouble now. went to remove the oil filter on my 350 mercnitemare and it decentergrated on me and now alls thats left is the top. its on there tight as can be. i,ve tried a screwdriver and mallet, to no avail. tried prying down on one side to get vise grips on the top to bang on...

    back again. god save Iboats! the mech. i hired to install my nitemare, i mean engine installed a water cooled system and the water pickup is through the hull. he blocked off the pipe from the stern drive through the transom with a big bolt.about the only thing my engine does right is cooling...
