    Hi, During spring inspection and maintenance i noticed a small rubber hose(1\4") had come loose and was removed from the nipple fitting on the lower portion of the i\o.Looking from the transom up into the drive just below the exhaust tube.My question is what does this hose do? Is it for water flow?

    volvo 275 i/o oil fill level

    Changed the gear oil in the bottom end and wondering where to stop filling. The 275 has a dip stick at the top of the drive and it's about 6" long. About 4" of it is flat on one side.
