I have replaced two transoms on I/Os. Its a job!!!!!!! Or 5-7 grand out of pocket. Use the boat the rest of summer and get working on it this fall when it is cooler outside.
Depending on age of boat/tank, it may be a great time to pull, examine and paint it again. Once out of boat, you can calculate the volume where bobber reaches and determine how accurate fuel system reads.

Does this finish hold up in saltwater usage, if rinsed after usage? Another boater recommended SS caliper with hardware and rotor both having the dacromet finish. This combination is about 1/2 cost of all SS parts.

I suspected that but I wanted another opinion. So, for Bravo 1 (no XR that I can tell) right or left hand shaft rotation is determined by swapping shift cable locations???
Thanks, I suspected that from my memory. I couldn't see any cable bind yesterday, so I guess I will have to check OD fluid and than remove OD to examine. I suspect since cable will move OD to neutral and forward, shift cable end is in claw correctly. Getting old sucks.
