    Got it figured vacuum leak on intake manifold to fuel pump.hole in pump diaphragm.

    Spark tester . parts came off a good running motor.i have done dozens of these motors but this one has me baffled.

    1985 9.9 evinrude 9.9 has misfire on lower cylinder has 110 compression on both. Cly getting spark on both as well as fuel.have swapped out coil,power pack stator and trigger within spec and no sigh of water intrusion.but is a excessive amount of unburnt fuel out the prop exhaust it will pop...

    Have 6.5 evinrude that barely starts but won’t stay running has spark and 80 psi compression on both cylinders.just a ligh purr for a few second and that’s it.putting fuel directly into spark plug holes.banging my head against the wall on this one.

    Heat exchanger install

    Installing older heat exchanger on my 5.7 with dry joint risers all the hose connections make sense except I don’t know what to do with the two upper hoses coming off the risers. Any ideals or just tee them into the lower manifold hoses.phots attached .
