When doing a link and sync on my 115 Mercury inline6 it says to set the timing to 21 degrees btdc which I understand but says to err to side of caution. Does that mean you would be better to set at 22btdc or 20btdc?
On a 1987 200hp which jet controls idle air/fuel mixture? Top or middle? Mine is running rich plugs wet at idle. And does bigger jet = leaner fuel mixture

1983 90hp mercury leaking gas from middle intake port. I first thought it was the float but removed carb squeezed primer bulb and fuel runs out of intake port. Is it possible that fuel pump is bad or any other suggestions. Thanks
