I have totally taken it appart 3 times and completely cleaned everything (trust me, it's clean) and this carb still has a pesky intermitant problem. One day, the motor will run perfect and whenever I'm done, I run the gas out and put back in storage, then I take it out and gas will poor out of...
I wish that I would have opted for the electric start when I bought this motor because it's a bear to start when it's cold. Does anyone know if there is an electric start/charger kit available?

The motor runs really good, but when I'm tooling along WOT, it will just stop in it's tracks. This doesn't seem to be a fuel issue, and even if I use the prime bulb when it cuts out, it makes no difference. Any ideas??

Does anyone know of any outfit that carries a decal kit for a 1986 6hp Evinrude? I can't find anything anywhere and it's very frustrating because the only thing wrong with this motor is the scratched off decals.

I just bought this motor new and when it's cold (first start) it is VERY hard starting. I do just as the owners manual says and prime it twice and pull the choke and pull that cord until my eyes turn yellow:mad:. Once started, it will start first pull there on out.
Any ideas?

This is a 96' Mariner 40hp 2 stroke oil injected 4 cylinder engine and gas is pouring out of the mouth of the lower carberator. Is there anything that commonly causes this on these engines? Stuck float or needle and seat?

I just picked up a 1986 Evinrude 6hp that is in great shape except for the cowl:(. I would like to repaint it and put a new decal kit on but I can not find the decal kit anywhere!:confused: The engine number is E6RCDE.
