Asking for an outboard bud...I have seen the carb float quickly..its made from cork..
He is concerned that it is not moving freely.. Should it travel flush to the top??? I dont think that it is right now..I am assuming this is without the top on

There was some heavy duty sealer on those aluminum threads...Not sure what exactly they used that was good for a gasoline situation...

I have tried searching here a little with the phone.seems it may be favorable to stay with the factory style gasket over the felpro silver pooft auto gasket. Looks to be more mating surface.
