    High Temp Epoxy

Has anyone successfuly used a high temperature epoxy on thier outboard. I have some cracks in the exhaust (right where the water jacket is) of my 115 and was going to fill them and re-tap them. If I can't weld them, can I use some 2000 degree putty? Thanks.
