I've been doing some reading on this in various places. Most of what I'm reading pertains to boats with outboards. I'm not really seeing anything pertaining to inboard outboards. The reason for my interest is I have a very nice 97 Tyee Magnum I.O I bought about 4 years ago.
The winter of 1999 - 2000 I totally overhauled the interior of a Lund American 5.3. If your boat was anything like that one, the floorboard screws are under the carpet. In my case the carpet wasn't worth anything so it was coming out anyway.
As previously mentioned, there are a lot of screws...
For your overflow tube, I would find a tracker dealer and see if they can help you with that so you get the correct drain tube.
As for the switch, the fill position will likely run the pump constantly to fill the tank. The earator mode is likely a timed mode, like 3 minutes on/3 minutes off or...
You could give this a try, Moen's Mouse Mix. https://mousemix.us/
It's an all natural pest deterrent. We used it in our camper and it works really well. They don't say it works on squirrels but it might be worth a try. You can get on Amazon or directly from Moen's.
I take mine out of the bottle, hold it over my waste oil container, actuate the pump to get most of the residual gear oil out and then put it in a big zip lock bag that has a couple blue shop paper towels on the bottom to soak up any extra gear oil.
And, I would think that if they were truly the largest seller of outboard motors in the US, they and their website would be around a lot longer than a year.
Boat owners manuals if there is one generally don't tell you any technical information on repairs or maintenance. They usually have some boating safety guidelines and very basic boat operation instructions. If you are looking for information on your engine or drive, you will need to get a...
I think we're looking at two separate problems, the engine stalling, and the mismatched prop. Likely the cause of the engine stalling and not starting is not from that little tube, , unless the engine was severely overheated.
I know exactly what the OP was talking about. I was merely suggesting that if he was that worried about he seats jumping ship during transit he could switch to a pedestal that locks in place.
Years ago I purchased a product called Metal Cast from McMaster Carr. It was like a two part epoxy. Once it hardened you could drill it, machine it, it was awesome!
With all the 1000s of miles and 30 years of going up north, I have never seen a pedestal seat sitting on the side of the road. They do make locking pedestal seat/seat bases like what came with all my Lund boats I've owned. At the base of the pedestal there is a plastic tang that engages the...
I bet if you find a good aluminum welder he could fill that in. On my first (and only) total boat and outboard overhaul project 22 Years ago I bought a 70 h.p. 3 cylinder Johnson outboard where the center cylinder connecting rod decided to make a hole in the engine block. Never new it was...
We just sold a 1970 14" aluminum Lund boat that didn't look like much. The boat itself is solid and leak free. $800. We had it Craig's List first for about 3 or 4 weeks with no action. As soon as my wife put it on Face Book Marketplace we got 3 very interested parties in two days, the first...
When I picked up my new to me rig 3 years ago I thought I'd go through the bearings on all for wheels. The trailer is a Shorelander, come to find out that a sleeve on the parts list for all 4 wheels. I found that interesting. I always thought they were just for use when your sealing surface...
