    merc 50 hp stalling at low rpm?

    hello. I have a 2005 merc. 50 hp 2 stroke that is stalling out at low rpm. i have to pump the primmer bulb to re start. ive replaced the primmer bulb which did not fix the problem. Anyone have any other ideas? ser # is 50ELPTO. Thanks

    Carb help

    I have what I was told a 1989 4.3 omc. I am triing to find out what carb is on it so I can order a rebuid kit. It is a Holly 2bbl. All the Numbers that I found on it does not match up to any carb number (6r3250b, 3858330, 75006-1, 0269, 12b-3975b, 11250). Any ideas Thanks, Chuck

    Keeps dying

    I have a '89 4.3 v-6 chevy omc. I cant run for a while then it will stall. Wait a few minutes or less then it fires up. If I run it at a slower speed it doesnt seem to stall out. My thought is that it is temperaly running out of fuel. Thanks, Chuck

    Help getting outboard running

    I just got a 4hp murcury 40 I am not sure what year it is. The number is 3936911. It looks to be in very good shape. I was wondering what should I do before I try to start it. It was in a barn for up to 20 yrs not used. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks, Chuck
