Last year I had my motor guy slow my idle down in an attempt to get my 115 Johnson to troll as slowly as possible.
It's too slow. It stalls sometimes when trolling and almost always when shifting forward-reverse or vice-versa.
I'm going to bump the idle up some. What general RPM should it be...

I got no manual with the motor. From about 800-1000 RPM on up to 5500 it runs like a Swiss watch. But it wants to stall at idle, which the guy had set at around 500 RPM. Is it idling too slowly?? Or might it be a timing...
