    I had a professional welder give it a try and he said that the impurities that have been absorbed into the casting were too much. He could hardly even get filler rod to adhere. I am told he is good, but I do not know that for a fact.

    Those manifolds seem to be for a smaller V8 than the 8.1. The part numbers don't match up. Would you try to stick with the catalyzed exaust or would you try to change to non catalyzed? I am finding the manifold for sale, but out of stock. The price for the manifolds only is about $4300 per side...

    It's heavy so not aluminum. There is not much rust on the inside of the manifold. Any chance a welder can seal it?

    I got busy after posting this orginally. I have uploaded the video and posted it to youtube. Video of spray. This spray is actually coming from the starboard exaust manifold just above the precatlyst O2 sensor. Any idea what is going on or if it is repairable? Thank you for you help!

    I have a 2012 Volvo Penta 8.1 GXCi-Q with the O2 sensors. There is a small spray of water coming from above the O2 sensor on the port side. Any ideas what the problem could be? I have attached a video in the picture. I appreciate any help.

    I did pull the drive over the winter. Bellows are not leaking. I am guessing I am getting about 5 gallons an hour from that leak.

    Engine problems while on vacation

    So it looks like the paint from the fuel pump assembly is coming off and clogging the fuel injectors. I have cleaned the fuel rail, lines and injectors as well as removed the paint from the assembly. I can see the paint chips in the fuel pressure regulator screen. UHGGG!!!
