The weather has down right amazing around here. I won’t even see the 30’s until next week then the 20’a roll in soon after that. It’s been 25 years since I’ve seen the harbors freeze up.

20F this morning ... wind brutal. But 8 point greeted me and was cleaned up and home in time to watch PSU football this afternoon.

My son and I doubled up on Monday with him taking a buck and myself a doe. His buck ran into a ravine that was like 70* steep. What a pain. Couple more weeks of archery until the orange army hits the woods.

I may try to get out later this week for a sit with the rifle. I would rather bow hunt but can't have a cross bow but the set up at the farm favors a rifle.

Managed this ten this morning. Was my farthest archery kill to date at 40 yards. He only ran about 50 yards till he dropped.
With two deer in the freezer my season isover.IMG_7503.jpeg
