    What kind of Fuel filter for Mercruiser 120?

    Discovered I have no fuel filter on my 120 and I've had gas issues recently. Any recommendations I could grab at an auto parts store? Removed and dumped the tank (into a container for the mower). Now I have good gas but I want to be proactive instead of reactive... Thanks!

    Rebuilt carb/Merc 120 starts to die on acceleration then continues to run normally.

    Will a Merc 120 stay running if battery disconnected?

    Trying to determine if my battery is bad or alternator is bad. With the engine running if I pop the terminals off the battery the engine kills. I test 12v at the batt, alt and my isolator.

    I noticed that my tilt only works in DOWN or when I press TRAILER (goes up). The up switch does not work when the engine is down. My trim gauge is pegged at UP at all times; so I either figured I have a bad trim motor relay or there is a sensor/switch that is broken/disconnected, etc...
