can anyone tell me where i can find an aftermarket 3 blade prop for my 58 7.5hp johnson (AD-12)? looking for something to give the ol girl a little more power. thank you.
at idle the mortor barely smokes, but when i crank the throttle, it smokes like mad. i mixed the fuel to 24:1, rebuilt the carb.
wondering if i should lean the fuel mixture out some???
my daughter "helped" me fix the motor by taking the fuel pump apart so we could rebuild it. unfortunately she did it when I wasn't there to see how it came apart. does anyone know where I can find a diagram of one so I can reassemble it properly?
pulled the plug on my 70 6R70 6HP to change the gear lube and a trickle of water followed by milky sludge oozed from the hole. opened the gearcase to clean out the sludge. no when i put it back together, do i use a sealant of some sort?
