    What grinding/porting if any can be done to the btm crankcase half ? I heard it was possible. I have found the intake manifold top middle cut stuff on here and that looks interesting to do.

    Needle Valve keeper to float missing. Evinrude 100hp 1984

    What would the symptoms be on 1984 100hp evinrude if one of the needle valve keepers was not attached to the float and actually missing? Anything is possible but I think the keeper was not there when I took it apart. Thanks.

    Crankcase Spagetti seals

    I was almost finshed with powerhead reasembly when I went to install the spagetti seal I noticed right from the zip lock bag one of the branches was missing.     Cork thermostat gasket location E100WTLCRS 100hp 1984

    Guys, I have two OMC service manuals(one for 1984 and the other for 1988) and one shows the cork gasket inserted into the valve body first and the other one shows the thermostat inserted first and the cork gasket over the top. Can both be correct?

    1984 fuel pump 100hp Are there two different sizes?

    Just received the superseeded fuel pump kit but the "correct" part is larger than original. The main casting has 322843 part number and one of the plastic parts has 321671. The received kit is part number 398514 but old part number for kit is 393867. IF the body of the pump is "house shaped"...

    bored and honed .044 over but looks very thin

    83 Evinrude 100hp. I have all new Wisco pistons have the block bored and honed .044 over but the steel sleeve looks very thin on one side especally at the "splines" at the ports. Does anyone know what wall thickness (at this thinest splined area) is acceptable? Does this "spline" go all the way...
