Is there difference between AQ125 and AQ145 engines.
Have cracked engine block on AQ145,but have available AQ125 donor,just wonder if the blocks are similar.
Anybody knows Thompson boats? Are those boats structurally well built? Going to buy 25? 1987 twin engine Thompson boat, got no engines, happen I have two motors in my garage.
Need help with removing AQ271 leg helmet double bolt pivot pin.Have both bolts removed but pin still sitting tight in the helmet,any easy method to do so,thanks.
Also found AQ170 outdrive manual ,can't find any for AQ171 with double bolt helmet.
My AQ170/280 trim stop working after try to lift leg with prop buried in sand,fuse blown-replaced ,still not working.
Motor has 4 connectors,need to know layout.
Anybody have electrical diagram ?
Antifouling Bottom Paint,especially thick copper base has a very rough finish,my boat is slower then I expect,just wonder if paint will affect my speed.
Having problem with acceleration on my AQ170 with 3 Solex downdraft setup.
Starts and idles OK but if accelerate faster it dies, so I have to pushing the throttle extremely slow in small increments to get her revs.Ones on the RPM no problem a lot of power.
Acceleration pumps working,carbs...
