    Is a Treated Deck ok?

    I would like to use a treated plywood deck on my 18' fishing boat if possible. I can get this at the local hardware store but if it will fail in 5 years then I will do it the hard way and use marine grade. Has anyone had problems with treated plywood failing after a few years?

    I'm looking at a boat that has a 1983 50hp Evinrude motor on it. I'm asking for any opinion good or bad about this motor. I have a 1957 Evinrude that runs great. Did the motor change in dependability on newer models?

    Im looking at buying an aluminum boat but the aluminum is dull. Is there something made that I can use to clean it up with? Im even open to buffing it out if it will clean it up.
